Move from handlebar to rack seat

The little monkey is approaching the 15kg limit for the bobike handlebar mounted seat. So I've picked up a CoPilot limo. The trouble is he wants to go on the front mounted seat! I don't blame him - wind in the hair and a view (that isn't my arse).
Anyone else managed to get their kid to make the transition? I've got a little bit of time allowing for growth and design tolerance, so maybe his language will have improved so I can explain to him!

Packet of sweets/ something more politically correct in your back pocket?
I never owned the front mounted seat so I don't know about the transition but the "interesting stuff in back pocket" has worked for the rear seat and also the tandem now that we've moved on.0
