Short cage or medium cage

Hi - looking for some advice.

I am thinking of replacing the Tiagra rear derailleur with an Ultegra 10 speed unit. Wondering whether I need the GS or SS. Looks like I will need a capacity of 33 (16 at front and 17 at the rear).

Any help or advice welcome.

So front is 34-50 and rear is 11-28? Short cage (SS) should work.

thats correct 50-34 upfront and 11-28 at the rear.

Not alot, they both work fine and get the job done.
