Hello!

We are looking to sell my husband Specialized mountain bike gear (used but in excellent condition) but before putting an advert for it, we would like some advice as to how much it is worth...

here is a full description of what we want to sell (Ideally as a full kit or at least bike and accessories, as trying to sell it piece by piece would be a lenghty process)

All the gear is stored in Cumbria, but could be brought to North Yorkshire if necessary.

Bike
Specialized Hardrock A1F5 – Cobalt blue metallic size size 19
Suntour front shocks, Shimano gears Piccolloo B1-1257
Specialized bar ends
Specialized frame mounted pump
Front & rear cradcatcher mudguards (detachable)
Lizard skin fleoprene frame guards
Cateyes front & rear lights

Accessories
Frame bag (doubles as shoulder pad for carrying bike over gates, etc)
Set of tyres levers
Spare break cable
Puncture repair kit
Bottle of chain oil
Spare inner tube
Alien X bike multitool (including chain repair) in case
Various lake district mountain bike guides

Racks and lock
Hollywood bike rack & steps (fits most hatchback & saloon cars)
Abus heavy duty bike lock

Clothing
Catscan cat eye glasses with smoked/yellow/clear lenses
Ronhill Hi-Viz bib
Specialized momentum padded gloves red & black
Met Badboy visor helmet, grey unisize including bag

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • Been a spate of these recently!

The bike is worth as much as someone is wanti g to pay for it. Stick it on ebay and see what happens.

I'd give you a sausage roll.

Oh, and read the forum rules

To save you the trouble of looking, copied from the forum rules:

    16) Do not post "How much is it worth?" topics. If you want to know, look on other sites for a benchmark.
