Going to order a set of these once i can work out what set up i need. I have no idea when it comes to certain choices for fitting sizes, qr, centrelock, 15mm, 6 bolt? Don't want to order a wheelset that doesn't fit. How do you find out what you need? I can't see anything on my my bike that states.

I currently have a hardtail, 26" wheels, quick release XT hubs and skewers and a RockShox Reba rl front fork with 100mm travel. (2012 Cube LTD CC)

You can have them do a custom build and check the weights also. I had a mess about with it and the set came out at under 1400g at around 250 pounds.

I chose DT Swiss hubs. There was also different spokes you had to choose, no idea what the choice was for, length or thickness, so i don't know what to go for there either, lol.

As for the hubs, you have 3 to choose from, there own, DT Swiss and i can't remember the other. Anyone know about this stuff who can recommend which hubs they offer is best? And what setup i need? Thanks!

Do you have disc brakes ? are they held on with 6 bolts or centre lock .?

How are your existing wheels fastened front and rear . Quick release or bolt through axle.?

All you are doing is replacing with a better lighter wheelset so not changing anything .

I just got set a set of crests on hope pro 2 hubs . Excellent . One more thing the crest is more cross country in nature and not designed for heavy riders who jump and thrash wheels.

Ah, just took another look. I'm fairly certain it's 6 bolt.

Will the spoke options matter? or can i choose any and they'll work fine? or do i need something specific?

i just redone it on there converter. crest rims, 2.0/1.5 spokes, dt swiss hub 6 bolt qr... 555 pound for the set weighing around 1350g

Also noticed a set of Easton EA90's for around 350 quid. Would they be better? They're a bit heavier at 1560g but are a couple of hundred cheape

Sounds like a DT240 wheelset, which is a pretty top end hub. There are other options cheaper if you want that sort of weight - A2Z, Funworks (through Actionsports.de). 240s are great hubs, but cheap they are not.

I'd get the Superstars and put the £400 you save onto other bits.
