Just spent an hour creating a diy wheel truing device.

    can't see the pic but the most basic one you can do is to use the brake blocks as a guide and tighten/loosen the barrel adjuster for the brake to get the wheel to stop/rub where it is out of true.

    Used this method for years before finally buying a park tool truing stand which to be fair makes the job much easier

    I use the frame and blue tack a ruler across, gives me dish, trueness and egging correction for zero cost.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
