ID tool and size to get this (2) off Bontrager Comp Wheel

I 'v done a search here as old wheels Bontrager Rhythm Comp ERD:535 Series 6000
Looking to replace bearings on front wheel, What the name of tool and what size would I need to remove part (2) in bottom image?
There no point in saying RTFM as there no menstion of what tool is need wheel are second hand and did't come spanner type tool.
Did try in a vice bot start to crush and slip.

looks like bontrager originally supplied a special hook spanner, but if you can't get hold of one of those, it looks like a two-pin wrench would work fine:

Looks like you need a C spanner, just as it sounds with a tang to engage. try Britool or similar, they come in fixed sizes ans adjustable.0
