I know, another new commuter asking what is bike is best to get!
well a little premise first, i haven't commuted for over 6months, but before that used my marin full sus to commute, now im after something much more suitable
i don't want a racer, im not going to race and the punctures / position doesn't appeal to me.
i do want something, fast running rigid and easy to commute on.
im looking at second hand as i only have a budget of £300 ish and want as good as possible. which i cannot find for new
So the question is what city/hybrid bike do you guys recommend for a budget of £300

Used is a mine field, it's hard to recommend something and to be sure you have a chance of finding it.
Check out the Decathlon Fit5, better vale than most used bikes, a little over your budget, but carbon forks and the overall spec are amazing http://www.decathlon.co.uk/btwin-fit-50 ... 39798.htmlCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
