I've just got myself this, changed the wheels for my handbuilt h plus sons and stuck my Garmin mount on it and my Romin saddle....only thing I plan to do really is change the bar tape for black as I hate white tape.....looking forward to my first ride in the morning, expecting a bit more comfort than my ally Cannondale Caad.

Haven't ridden it yet but I'm already impressed with the way the sram gearing works, time will tell..

Lovely, will look better with black tape, as you say.
  • I know, its ace, cant wait till the morning, hope its a nice sunny day like today. There looks to be loads of clearance for some 25c continental tyres too. Definitely changing the bar tape asap though. I built the wheels last year and have only had a couple of rides on them so i cant wait to give them a decent ride now the weather is better!

Was quite surprised that the brake blocks are made by swissstop....

Would look even better with a white saddle. The tape is fine.

Very nice, really like the look of these frames and the wheels finish it nicely!

What size frame is it and how tall are you?

Dont mind white tape when its new but its a pain to keep clean, plus my saddle is black and i cant be bothered spending more money changing it

Ive just done a quick 20 miles on it around Woburn, it rides wonderfully. Its night and day compared to my other bike in terms of smoothness and ride quality. I have far less aches and pains and its quite a bit quicker. It climbs better and feels very stable at speed. Perfect for racking up loads of miles this summer!

The Sram groupset is awesome, im converted. I love the way it works the double tap system is brill. It is marginally less smooth than the shimano 105 on my other bike but the shifting is so much more positive. I cannot get the chainset to flex at all.....makes me wonder just how good the more expensive Sram stuff is

Nice, you can't beat a little white, my bike is black and silver so doesn't go with white, which happens to be on most stems, and handlebars as I recently found out :P
