I am looking for a quite cheap touring bike, and since I cannot afford anything like a Clubman, or any other entry-level audax, I am looking towards a versatile road bike to convert for light touring.
What do you guys think of this one?

Is it worth the money?
Is it quite convertible for light touring, by adding racks and maybe mounting 28mm tires?
Any other advice?

Hi, i had one of those a few years ago. It has fixings for mudguards and a rear rack. If i remember correctly there is plenty of clearance for mudguards as it has deep drop brakes. Looking back it was a very comfortable ride, wish i'd kept it in some ways
If in good condition that is a reasonable price so i would say go for it you won't be disappointedHe is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0 -
May I ask you another non-expert question?
I am 175cm, but I've ridden on bikes with frames bigger than 54cm. Since (as for my experience) the way it fits depends a lot on the model and the brand, but you know this bike, would you suggest that 54 for a person who is 174 height, 76 leg lenght?
Thanks a lot mate0 -
Well coincidentally we are the same height, that size will be perfect for you in my opinionHe is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0
