    How do you find 7970 compared to 6870?
    Red bikes are the fastest.

    Don't know yet - I've just finished building this using the 7970 from my R3 (and moving that to 6870) so I'll have a better idea after the weekend's rides. I can tell you that 6870 is 292g heavier overall (comparing 7970 + Rotor 3DF + internal loom/external battery + 12/27 cassette to 6870 full gruppo + external battery + 11/28 cassette). 6870 has better adjustability (notably you can adjust the front mech position when cross-chained) and lever feel is identical to 7970.
