Would be more stealth if the front end was lower.

Yes - photo makes it look a bit high doesnt it - bars are flat - its just the angle, honest!!
That said, I will be slamming the stem once my poor old back has stretched a bit!

Nice but get a bikefit as that setup looks all wrong.

Front end does look way to high, saddle seems to far forward and you shifters look a little to forward to.

Looks a lovely finish to the frameset.

I am settling the fit in at the moment - measured and duplicated everything from the old hack - I am a bit long bodied (6 4") so the saddle tends to end up back there, but I think you are absolutley right - will probably lengthen the stem to compensate. As you say, a pro fit after a few hundred miles may well be in order.
Finish on the frame is VERY matt - hope I dont bugger it up too quickly
Dont know how Decathlon knock these out for the money!!

Inspired by those wheels, I took a punt. Not very good I'm afraid. Any out of the saddle effort causes brake rub even with the calipers set as loose as possible. I am tempted to get my spoke key out as several of the spokes sound fairly under tensioned when I ping them.

Oh dear. I went for the more expensive Farsports option which have, so far, been fine. No flexing or anything else to be of concern as yet.

I bought some Carbonzone 60mm tubs as a punt (paid around £230 delivered)- really, really good: stiff, light, roll very well, no rubbing, look good and great zoooooom zooooom zooooom noise. Well recommended.

Direct through ebay - he had his "£180 the pair special never to be repeated ever, ever, EVER (until next time)" deal on, the rest was postage - I didn't get stung at customs fortunately.

Really, really happy with them: I went for the matt ones and the finish is really nice.

Dealing with him was really nice as well - admittedly my Mandarin is not the best in the world and his English is basic but we muddled through - only a couple of emails were needed to confirm my delivery address.

Did I say that I was very impressed for £230?
