    1) Mercedes (the new BMW). Usually black.
    2) BMW
    3) Audi (I drive one)
    4) Any kind of souped-up small engined boy-pretend-racer car.

    It's fact-based stereotyping.

Audis definately, seem to be driven by people who think they are precision stunt drivers, or at least something that sounds similar  (no offence to anyone who drives one of course)

Veronese, that is the worst I have seen in years of wasted time on youtube, bikeradar etc. It wasn't it you on the bike was it?

In my experience the worst driven cars generally are Mini's, notwithstanding that the nearest I cam to getting knocked off was a Mini (young female on the phone just to rack up the stereotypes). Second worst are Audi's (the new BMW and an irony given the A4 advert of a while back that took the pee out of BMW drivers).

Bus drivers round my way are pretty good, HGV drivers give me lots of room but often misjudge my speed and start to pull back in when the rear wheels of the trailer are still next to me.

Very worst though are my car driving works colleagues who seem to have a sweepstake going to see who can make me jump the most!
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

This is true too. I nearly got run down by the van on it's way to deliver my food.
I think it was called strawberry.

  • Hmm. Thread proves that there is no single worst driven make of car shocker.

    Whoddathunkit?

Shall we do a "which is the worst ridden mark of frame?" next? That's sure to be equally insightful.
Swim. Bike. Run. Yeah. That's what I used to do.

Not I thankfully, saw it on the Road forum. I think most close passes and instances of bad driving are more thoughtless than deliberate. That one is deliberate, and terrifying.

No difference. On a average they are all the same.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

In the sweeping generalisation department I'll go for late model 4x4s, BMW 1 series, buses and Audis (especially 3.0tdi A4s).

    The driver got sacked.

Not really a surprise. Driving a liveried truck he is representative of the company, the company is now in the public eye as a result of his actions and had had to act. Gross misconduct? I've got no sympathy for the bloke as he brought it upon himself.
