Campy Eurus hub service
Hi.
The hub on my 2010 eurus rear wheel is starting to sound a bit rough. It's done just under 3,000 miles, not sure if this is a lot for hub bearings or not?
Anyway I'm going to give it a service but cannot find out for sure which bearings to use. Will these work? :

Thanks in advance for any help!
Wilky.

You need to open it and check what is wrong... if the cones are damaged, then new balls won't do the trick, otherwise yes, you need new balls and I think Campagnolo only does one size... surprised they are so cheap though...
3000 miles is very little for a Campag hub, you must have ridden them in pretty nasty conditions or you are too heavy/strong for your wheelsleft the forum March 20230 -
95% in the dry I reckon, and I'm just under 14st. To be fair the guy I bought them off (bike radar member) said he'd only done 700 miles, he may have been telling porkies.
I'll take it apart and see whats what. If the cones are damaged is it new wheelset time??
Thanks Ugo.0 -

No, you can get cones I think... The Cycle Clinic is the Wikipedia of Campag spare parts... he even got me a barrel adjuster for a Daytona 9 speed rear mech... :shock:left the forum March 20230 -
I'll check him out. Thanks Ugo.0

I got at least 20k miles out of my Campag Eurus wheels, I did service the bearings once a year, simply taking apart and regreasing did the trick.0
