Praxis BB30 conversion kit

Anyone used one to convert a BB30 into a standard Shimano Hollowtech?

I found the problem with the BB on the Felt and the bearings are completely siezed. Yup. I've been cycling on a siezed BB and still making it 12 miles.

Clearly the BB30 is made out of swiss cheese and I'd prefer something else, so I found the Praxis kit (which frankly I want to buy 'cos then I'm like all Deus Ex on the bike 8) )

My bike has a Praxis kit... that's geek overload that is.

good decision, i'd read lots of BB30 nightmare stories so decided that if i'm going to drop a packet on rotor crankset with praxis rings i want it just work.

Where did you buy from, K-B? I need one for the Volagi so I can use the Stages PM.

Just to add the BB30 bearing sets... I don't know if it was me fitting them poorly but one of them was so notchy it felt like you were turning a clockwork part; and the other wouldn't move at all, even with a serious amount of persuasion involving pliers and swearing.

    I cycled on them...

Think I'm using those in my cyclocross bike. Seem like a good solution. PF bottom brackets otherwise seem like a nasty hack..

Thanks K-B - will source one for the conversion to Shimano.

To throw a spanner in the works... I've heard nothing but good things about the Wheels Manufacturing PF30 to Shimano kit. Might be another option.

If you mean the shims, I have them now and they still require the BB30 bearings
