I have been trying to set up the fox 32 performance fitctd talas forks on my new canyon . Canyon linked me to this page
http://www.ridefox.com/fox_tech_center/ ... index.html
At my weight 80lbs is recommended as a starting point . This was in no way enough, even at the max recommended psi of 110lbs it was still inadequate. So after much head scratching i decided to use foxes serial number search ansd was lead to this page .
http://www.ridefox.com/help.php?m=bike& ... irpressure
Now this page recommends 145lbs with a maximum for the fork of 190lbs .
All is good now .
I do find it strange though that the same fork separated by only 12 months has such a different pressure threshold and weight settings .

The talas system has been totally revised for 2014. Not that surpising the pressures are different, but that does seem like a huge jump.A Flock of Birds
