Just watched an excellent hour of highlights on RAI.
Lovely, early Spring day.
The Nibali bros interviewed
We had plenty of tv time for Hoogerland in the early break.
Final climb gave us a sighting of Nibali snr stretching out the bunch.
Pirazzi then attacked off his wheel.
Arrendono took off like a scalded cat, apparently free and clear until
Ulissi turned up the gas a breezed across the gap.
From then on, there was only one winner, if they weren't caught....and they almost were.
On the down side, Simon Yates taken out, if not down, on the descent.
Got into a tangle with a Colombia rider who had come off on a bend.
