advice needed

Went out for a cycle today doing last 4 miles of a 24 mile route and was attack and bitten by a dog which was of the lead so question is what to do? Owner was not very friendly and was less than helpful, not even asking if I was ok bloody country folk with their big houses and land rovers.

    Falls under the dangerous dog act.

    Basically it should be reported to the police. Its definitely worth doing especially if you think the owner does not look like they can control the dog to prevent it from behaving in a similar manner or is too irresponsible to own one at all.

    The owner could be banned from ownership or could be fined.

    hope you weren't injured to badly. Took me a long time to recover after a staf was set on me in an attempted mugging, still am uneasy around some dogs, even though i am a 'dog person'
