Have a problem with this, no matter how tight I fasten the bolt the saddle slips it's pitch. It's become quite lose. Perhaps this happens with other similarly designed saddle clamps. It's not that old. Wondering how to jerry big this without having to order a new one.

Ideas?

I'd take it apart and check the bolt threads are ok and the same for the part it screws into - might be an issue.
Try tightening it up then without the seat in the clamp and see if the bolt turns all the way and goes tight.

If threads are all ok, some threadlock when you tighten it up should hold it, but sounds like there might be something amiss

Get hold of a torque wrench and find out what torque Cannondale suggest for the thing. You might be surprised by how tight it needs to be.

I have a single bolt Deda carbon post of some kind and that needs to be pretty tight to keep the saddle level, and carbon paste to stop it sliding into the alu frame.
