pre 2006 campag 10 spd groupset keeps going just
Just replaced my veloce bb with one of the expensive(ish) centaur 111mm axle types, did the spring replacements on the right ergo lever and did the cables a few weeks back. How long will it be possible to keep the older and best groups going? I dread the thought of going to the newer campag offerings. The power shift and power torque systems designs are hideous, no I dont have personal experience just what Ive read (thats enough to convince me). It doesnt make any sense to me, what were campagnolo thinking? When its no longer possible it will be back to shimano 105 like I had in the 80s, not 6 speed, 10 most likely or if I do manage a few more years on my existing old gear, 105 11 spd. Whinge over, feel better now.
Caveat - I buy and ride cheap, however, I reserve the right to advise on expensive kit that I have never actually used and possibly never will
