I usually use Mavic open pro rims but fancy something a little different on my second Powertap wheelset.
What Deeper section rims are worth considering?

KInlin XR 300, 270 and Velocity Deep V

There are deeper, but also considerably heavier rims

Are there any affordable alloy carbon faired rims you can recommend Ugo?

No, they are all stupidly expensive

If you are open minded about hole count, see if you can get hold of Kinlin XR 380... it's quite light for the depth, but only comes in 20-28 holes... 28 should be plenty

Maybe The Cycleclinic can get it?

There are the new Ryde Pulse Comp rims too - with a wide option available. Don't seem to heavy either. Folks seem to like the disc version and the shallower Pulse sprint version too. I'm probably going to have a set of the Sprints built up and I'm tempted to try the Comps when the rims on my Hopes finally pack up.
