Can you fit a normal 'off the shelf' shock, or are they a custom one?

Listed size is 197x48mm so was going to put 200x50.

They are custom made for Specialized.
The yoke at the lower end of the shock is a non-standard mount and the shock shaft doesn't have an eye on it. The yoke bolts in to the bottom of the shaft.
    They are also non-standard length.

I love my Stumpy FSR but the non-standard shock and the limitations and potential cost of replacing it is the one thing that bugs me about it.

Why would you want a longer one out of interest?

TF Tuned can turn the Specialized shock in to a standard Monarch RT3. I know one or two people who have had it done. They can convert the older Fox models to RP23 as well. I don't think you can easily get hold of new shocks which will fit because of the bottom clevis.
