Sora lever adjustment

My Mrs is having trouble with lever reach and also finding it hard to shift gear due to small hands. She has Sora STI 's but i cant seem to find any thicker aftermarket shims. Does anyone know where i might find some..cheers

P.S she has just had it Retul bike fitted so tilting bars back slightly is not an option.

Evans Cycles sell some, but make sure they fit your groupset. Some series of groupsets vary.

not quite the answer you're after - but we happened to be in a bike shop over the weekend and having a look around the various groupsets I noticed that Campag Athena (?) had a much closer reach - almost as though it was designed for smaller hands?

I have a set of those "shims", can't remember if they come in 1 or 2 sizes, but are you after something thats thicker than the ones supplied?

Campag 10 speed levers (e.g. Veloce) will work with your 8 speed setup...so that is an option.

I'll have a look in my spares box, I have these shims from a couple of pairs and if they did a thicker spacer I should have it...and you'd be welcome to it.
