LOL: It's actually 6 OPQS out of a total of 9.

Breakaway already caught and hanging on the back for grim death....

I think that OPQS have worked out that when there are no radios teams will stick to preset race plans, such as 'don't chase until....', and no-one will take the initiative if they all charge up the road en masse.

OPQS caught, so they do exactly the same thing again on the cobbled climb.
Now attacks going up the road one after another.
    Flipping good race, this.

10 riders in front but not much coordination. MTN Quebeca one of the teams in the peloton organising the chase only 8" back.

Just coming up to the climb and the cobbles. Under 15km to go.

Under 10km to go and sprinters teams thinking about starting the chase. Pace very high and the bunch needs to respond.

No organisation at the front of the peloton but that's because the counter attacking of the front 10 caused self destruction. Looks like this will come together before long.

Not a straightforward finish this. Sprint teams will have had to do their homework. Just 3km to go now.

Sounds like a good race. Would be a shame for it to finish in a sprint. Will make sure I check the recorded coverage.

Winner today in a bunch sprint, Maxime Vantomme! Beating last year's winner and the favourite Bouhanni. Just missing out - team BSE!

    Timed his sprint perfectly
He rides for ROUBAIX LILLE METROPOLE a French Conti team by the way

Edit: Previously rode for Katusha, so not a 'nobody'... just new to me at least.

Good sprint that for the line too - literally had no idea who was going to win it from the head on shot.

So did they say the reason Romain Feillu's bike fell apart, was it in an earlier crash or did it just fall apart?

Yeah I saw the footage where it came apart I was just wondering if it had been in a smash prior or was just a defect in the frame. Not a great advert if it was.

According to the report I read, the breakage was only down to the crash in the video. Proper flimsy bikes, those Kemo!
I read the basic model actually weighs 6.3 kg so the team ones had to be modified to reach the minimum 6.8 kg.
