U8's youth races

Morning,
I've had a good search, and I can't quite find answers to all my questions, so hope you will excuse the post.
I'm in my first years racing (4th cat), and my daughter (8 next month) is massively keen to race too.
I suggested we go along on Saturday to the youth race that is on at the MK bowl (I'm local), but she said "Can I enter?". I said "I've no idea, I'll check it out". This is the event:

I've done a lot of googling, I can only find information relating to go-ride racing, such as:
"Go-Ride Racing is Youth entry level racing and British Cycling racing licences are NOT required at this level"
"• A discipline-specific bike is not required for Go-Ride Racing events however this will
be a requirement when making the step up to open regional competition.
• For a list of appropriate types of bike for each discipline at entry level refer to the
equipment list pages in the Go-Ride Racing Handbook."
However....does this apply to the above race - as in, is it a go ride race?
So I suppose a simple question.....what does she need in terms of bike, kit, and licence? The road bike is on order so she only has a Bein 20, is fully kitted up in other respects.

The youth races in the link do not appear to be 'go-ride' - however, all she will need in any case is a bike, and a helmet. If she does not have a licence, then you can buy a day licence at sign-on. You will need to make sure her bike is on the appropriate gearing restriction.0

That's great - so a 20 inch wheel with nobblies is OK, so long as it's geared ok?Insert bike here:0 -
Yes, the grearing is pretty much the only statutory requirement. The knobbly tyres are not against the rules as such, but they will probably put her at a disadvantage on tarmac. Depends on the level of riders - U8 line-ups can include everything from beginners on MTBs right through to carbon-wheeled ninjas...0

thats great - thanks for the info.
To be honest, I was a bit surprised in her being so keen to enter, so I think the experience on the 'wrong' bike is OK. As you say, there is likely to be a kid there in sidi shoes and a kash aero helmet, so being outsprinted by my FWC will be goodInsert bike here:0
