Hi, I'm new to this forum. I've been commuting 10 miles for the past year on a Btwin Triban 3, which I'm now looking to upgrade. I've been looking at these 2 bikes:

I'm really unsure which will be better fit for my purposes of a daily commute, with occasional leisure rides (up to 50 miles). The Ribble works out £40 more expensive when factoring in delivery, but that's with upgraded wheels and tyres. Apart from that, they both have full tiagra (which should serve my purposes).

Any help or advice one way or another would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

    Thanks for the response,

I was myself edging towards the ribble, unfortunately I live in London so have no access to trying out the ribble before I buy it. This is why I was considering the giant. Its a difficult one, is it Ill advised to just purchase the ribble straight out without trying it?

If you have tried the Giant and it fits then plum for the Giant. Its more expensive sister is widely regarded as the best bike under a grand. Giant make great frames.
Why tidy the house when you can clean your bike?
