Loose Headset
Guys,
I recently replaced the stem on my summer bike. When I went to it last night the headset is loose and rocks back and forth when the brakes are applied.
Is there a special technique to make sure it's screwed back together in the correct way to ensure this doesn't happen? Any advice would be great.

Loosen the two stem bolts so the stem can move on the steerer tube then tighten the top cap bolt to take out any play in the headset, don't overtighten it, you just need enough to remove the play. Then tighten the stem bolts by nipping each bolt in turn until you reach the correct torque.0
