I have a set of 3t ergonova bars on my good bike and they are perfect form me. I wish to change the bars on my winter bike when I replace the cables and I was wondering if there were any bars that were similar in shape to the 3t one but cheaper? I particularly like the flat tops.

Thanks

Ritchey Evo Curve. Pro version (as opposed to WCS) are a bit cheaper. But not awfully so

I've never used or seen  the ergonova bars, but going on the presumption that the tops are flat...

My bike came with these handlebars, 'flat-topped,' they're very comfy for riding on :) A bargain at that price too!

    There's a matching stem aswell ;)

    A 2nd hand Ergonovas?
  • On a similar theme, I have ergonovas on my good bike & wish for something lighter with a similar bend/design etc. Any ideas? Perhaps carbon if the budget will stretch.

FSA Plasma & FSA K-Wing Di2. Have one of each on both road bikes and find them very comfortable in every position.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

Oh Silly! It's not that hard! You don't cut the steerer down and you just put a couple of spacers inbetween each set of bars - easy peezy!

The carbon ones definitely aren't round. I have a set of those. Sort of squared off at the top rather than elongated flattened like the 3T ones but very much a flat top to them.

You see - perfectly normal. Of course, with drops you need wide lower and narrow bars upper otherwise they'd get in the way of each other so it's fortunate that narrower bars are now 'in'.
