Undecided on which 2014 Wilier road bike to buy, wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge on which is the best value for money, the 3 undecided vary quite a bit on price so understand the differences in specs. The only area of spec i am unsure on is how the campag components shape up. They are the

Izoard XP 105- £1299
GTR 105- £1799
GTR Centaur- £1999

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The Izoard is a pretty old frame now IIRC. As I recall, it lacks the di2 compatibility, and possibly the internal cabling of the newer models. It's probably a heavier/ less stiff frame with it being older technology too.

As for campag vs shimano, that's all down to personal preference really.
    Red bikes are the fastest.
  • Very tempted by the Izoard myself, looks good value for money.

Just bought an Izoard myself on Saturday from my LBS. Lovely ride and great VFM.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
  • Went and had a look at the Izoard this morning, not the lightest (came in at 9kg when they weighed it for me) but a fantastic looking bike and definitely top of my list
  • Bikebuster in Denmark have the following prices on their UK website: GTR Centaur £1439 and Iozard XP Centaur £1328 - not sure about delivery but this is apparently 18% off. Does that make your decision any easier? :D

  • Obviously would prefer to buy local as my local shop usually do me a good discount/deal. It's now between the Izoard and the GTR Centaur (due to the colour scheme), really tricky decision!!!!

You'll guess from my signature which one I'd recommend. With Campag, obviously.
    Trail fun - Transition Bandit
Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
    Allround - Cotic Solaris
