specialized shoe sizing????

I have a pair of specialized mtb sport bg shoes 2010, that according to the label inside and box are uk 13 and euro 47 these fit me fine. However I'm now looking at a new pair of specialized road and euro 47 are now uk 12???

have specialized changed their sizing?

    Not to the best of my knowledge - I have been wearing Spesh road shoes (and others!) for years and Spesh have always been 45. My latest Spesh shoes are the 'new look' s works ones which I got last year - size 45.

    I would go on the Euro size as they are often not whole or even half UK sizes quoted on Specialized boxes (10.4 or 11.7 etc.)

    Road shoes will come up a little smaller than MTB IME so its all a little irrelevant as you need to try a couple of pairs on ideally.
