Hi Guys,

I got about a grand to spend on a Hardtail and have been looking at these bikes, which one should I get? I really want a 27.5 but am open to a 29er

I would go for the Boardman above. I have had an On One 456, wouldn't have another. Frames made of pig iron and poor quality paint. The ride is very harsh, none of the benefits steel used to give. On the positive side it's indestructible.

Interested in the Boardman Pro myself. Can anyone say whether the BB30 problems reported in early models have been rectified or can I expect to be traipsing back to Halfords with a creaking BB after a week or so's use?

BB30 is just a shit system. Get a Hope ceramic bottom bracket fitted.
