I'd like to tell you about a charity ride being organised by a couple of my nephews at the end of May :
5 Countries
500 Miles
in 5 days
The route takes us thorough England, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. and back. Camping and meals will be provided. And support crews will be around for drink and pit-stops en-route. All you have to do is keep on pedalling !
Full details and sign-up details the website (and some great aerial footage from last year's Edinburgh to Dover ride) : http://5countriesin5days.co.uk/
The event is to raise money for the daughter of my nephew's friend / ex-army buddy. She suffers from cerebral palsy and the aim is to raise money for her treatment to improve her quality of life.
So it's in a good cause and should be good fun and a real challenge. All levels are welcome. Even I'm doing it, and I'm very much sofa-slug rather than racing-snake ! Please sign-up on the Forum to register interest or to ask any questions http://5countriesin5days.co.uk/forum.php
Thanks, Pete
