Rim Choice

I built a set of wheels last summer with Velocity A23 rims. Unfortunately I hit a pothole hard the other week and have buckled one of the flanges so need to change the rim.
I am debating whether to choose a "traditional" eyeletted rim such as Mavic Open Pro, Ambrosio Excellight or DT Swiss RR440 rather than fitting another A23 or an H-Son Archetype. I suspect that there is very little to choose between these rims and the final choice will come down to looks. Any thoughts?

If you want to reuse the spokes, Open PRO is the obvious choice as an alternative to A 23... otherwise read this review, I agree with most of it, except their issues with the Open PRO, which I have never experienced
