Negative chamber filling up on a solo air

Hi all, I released all the air from a recon solo air the other day, released it all with shock pump, removed it, cycled it a few times, reattached it, the pump read 50psi again, released that, all empty. I assume that the reason it refilled with air was because of the negative chamber. Pumping air back in, how do I make the air refill the negative chamber? Is it automatic? Thanks

It usually automatic, but if you've completely emptied it then you'll need to cycle the fork a few times then check the pressure.

I did that, pumped up to 50 psi, then cycled it, but was expecting to read 30 or something to show that air had left the positive chamber to go to the negative chamber, but it read 47 psi, so I was worried none entered the 2nd chamber?

The negative chamber is small. If they work, they work.
