Nice walk yesterday. GT's mum was not thought about. Today is more walking but it is gusting like gusting thing so no cable car again. Have fun at work people. Must remember to put lotion on the backs of my hands today, have an odd shape red mark where I missed yesterday.

  • Morning Losers!

Not a bad weekend really. Can't wait for the next one (nothing planned, just can't come soon enough!).

This morning I have my Motorcycle Theory Test at 8am, then off to work. I'd better pass it, I can't be orrificed to do it again. Work will consist mainly of reading reports I got minions to do. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Ah well.

    Laters!

TKM - does this mean you are going to post lots of motorbike pics now?

    Morning

Off to Birmingham for three days of working, with just a smidgen of drinking :)

    Morning homos.

Being in Birmingham sounds more fun than the week of work meh that is no doubt on the cards for me.

Anyway, weekend in 5 days, not that I'm wishing my life away

I do the same - but it really doesn't count as we are only wishing the working week away :)

True, the working week doesn't really count as 'life' anyway

Definitely not. I don't have Kawakrapi in my username ;)

I passed though :D Got 48 out of 50 and then 60 for the 'Hazard Perception'. If you've not had to do the Hazard Perception test, be thankful. It's stupid. Absolutely pointless in my opinion.

I celebrated with a sausage and bacon butty from Greggs. It was good. However they didn't tell me until after I'd paid for my meal that "we haven't had our milk and sugar order yet..."

  • TKM... i hear hear you love a good meaty sausage!

Well good morning simple folk of the crud.

This weekend the temp sensor in my car has gone, not an expensive job but slightly annoying, i spent 4 hours cleaning out the pets, and i cooked awsome curry last night.

Looking for a dryer day this week to take half day and disapear on the beast for a ride.

Cleaning out the pets? I hope the two activites weren't related in any way.

Started watching house of cards last night - pretty good. Going to order some shiny bits soon. Thats it..
  • Nah not enough meat on the little hooligans to warrant curry making out of them... scarily the curry was a dhal so no meat :S not very crudder of me.

    Good moaning.
Back at work after a few days off, deep joy. Still got over 50 emails that I can't be arsed to read as inevitably there will be more grief. Dealt with the easy stuff first, now I keep being pestered by customers. They think I'm joking when I tell them I wish they'd feck off.
I think I've got a motorbike, well enough bits to make one. I could post pictures of bits of it if you like.
Onwards and upwards, tea is calling...

    morning all,

today started off slowly but is gradually getting better. lots of work accomplished and not a lot of effort put in, delegation is awesome

I'm seriously considering quitting this job though and without blowing my own trumpet, they'd be screwed if I leave. there's people who can do my job, but I've been here on site since this contracts inception so know all the ins and outs and what contacts are important on a 9000 person site. they'll miss me when I'm gone

no bike today, but a cwmcarn cafall/twrch mash up tomorrow evening with northern monkey

I'm in the exact same boat as you (and not too different job role either!)

    Evening Knuckleshufflers,

Typical Monday with too much to do including very tedious minion appraisals , but the holiday is only a 10 days away now :) Also decided I'm going to sell the Bruiser and upgrade to something a bit more 'downhilly' as it only ever gets used for uplifts these days. Aah the joys of shopping...

  • Evening knob`eds.

Have been somewhat inactive on the internets recently, life is good without internet. And life is good playing loads of football and messing around with the bicycles.

Both my bikes are damaged quite badly so i havent been riding much this week :( Today was a good day, school was easy and the maths exam coming up is not so intimidating now that i know what im doing. Sort of.

The trails should be on the road to recovery now. The weather has been looking up this past week, though its spitting a bit now outisde. And inside. (the inside bit is Chunkers` mum on my big ben)
