I'm a sucker for a Cannondale and this seems a potential cracker at 2k.

I'm after an all round bike. Mostly local trails so hebden bridge, holmfirth, but also the odd trip to a trail centre. There is a fair bit of climbing so it needs to be good at both up and down.
I tried a Spesh camber evo and it was ok but I'm not convinced on a full suss 29, it was a bit of a drag going up compared to my old trek ex9.
Thoughts on the dale? I'd be swapping the brakes to slx and adding a reverb. I'm not entirely convinced if it would go on my Thule 591, given the shock placement and carbon frame.
Alternative 26 or 650s for 2k? Happy to stay 26 as can't imagine the difference is that big and there's nowt wrong with them in my eyes. But then there's not many new ones around anymore.
I'm pondering a canyon al+9 - the 8 looks better value but sold out in a small.
Cheers

DO IT...
You'll love the lefty and the pull shock I'm sure will work fine.0 -
Leftys are awesome. I don't like Canondale pull shocks but some people do.
You won't ever see another one if you buy it.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Is that like the "do it" when you're mate is pissed and about to do something stupid? Seems like a good idea at the time, but not something you'd ever do yourself?!!0 -
You'd certainly have to be nuts to have paid full whack for that! X7/X9, should have been at least X0 (or preferably XTR) throughout! Also MT2's?
At £1900 it makes some sense, but the Lefty fork, while light, always gets poor reviews for damping control. In fact in most reviews it's generally a case of 'so close BUT' with 'dales.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
