Boardman FS Large Owners..

Spotted an Boardman FS but its in large and its going to have to be a postage job so wont be able to try it. I'm around 5'8 can anybody with a bit of guidance, I wont be doing much downhill or throwing it about much..

    Would probably be a bit big. I have only had a spin around a car park on a mates large boardman and it felt spot on for me but I'm 6'1".

    yep too large i ride a large and im 6ft you need a medium

    Depends what shape you are. I'm 5' 10" and have a medium, but could easily have gone to a large (and may well have done, had they had any left). The large is only an inch bigger than medium (19", compared to 18"). I sat on a display large, and thought it was a medium, they're not a big frame.

    yes, but he's 5/8. Unless he is a freak proportion wise a large will be to big. May even be better on a small!

    A whole 2" difference. At 5' 8" he'd be very cramped on a small, especially if he wanted to swap the long 90mm stem for something more modern.

    There's no way a large would be right I'm afraid unless you have long legs and short body? I'm 5'8 and I was completely on the crossbar when stood over it. It just felt too big to me.
