Just read this on RCUK http://roadcyclinguk.com/gear/julius-ac ... -look.html and was wondering what the thoughts of the resident wheel builders were.
Using their branded rims and hubs with Sapim CX Ray spokes they claim a 1260g weight for £540 albeit with a caveat of a 80KG rider limit.

Kinlin XR 200 rims, as you can clearly see from the dimensions
http://www.prowheelbuilder.com/kinlin-x ... r-rim.html
Bitex hubs with the patented 6 pawls system and CX Ray spokes (45 USD a pair when bought in bulk)
Our friend The Cycle Clinic will build you the same rims with similar quality hubs for 300 quid
http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk/Wheel_b ... l_set.html
And if you want CX Ray spokes, ask him, it'll probably be another 100 quid, give or take
I've just saved you 140 quid... you owe me a beer...left the forum March 20230 -

Hello there, how about the Julius CC38? I'm very interested in the carbon tubeless rim for a custom build. Do you know where to find the rim?2015 Trek Domane 4.5 Disc
