These 5 have been out in the break all day:
1.F. Guillou
2.R. Torres
3.J. Perrett (UK rider for Raleigh)
4.G. Joeaar
5.T. Rostollan

Torres then attacked and had 18secs on Gert Joeaar, Florian Guillou and Joe Perrett with Rostollan at 25secs.

That regrouped.

Remi di Gregorio attacked the peloton but was brought back.

Then the peloton brought back the 5 leaders.

Currently 25ks to race and all together.

  • Four races on today - amazing but a big shame there is only coverage for one. Very little interest in pro racing today on the forum.

I've been following all your posts.
    Thanks for them.

    Yup.
Bit of a shocker as to how Betancur managed to pinch this.
French Eurosport have 1 hour highlights scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, so hopefully
they will find their way onto Brit ES, or the tube.

Has anyone got any photos of Team Sky and the bikes they have managed to throw together? Was it this race they had 16 stolen and are on hire bikes?

Only Sebastian Henao had to borrow a bike. They had two in a van and they got another five from their training hub in Nice.

Thanks for the updates. most of those races not having any live coverage doesn't help. And they're still just warm up races. Only 1 week to go before the start of the season!
  • Apparently the finish was much steeper than expected, which is why some of the punchier guys were right up there, and why some teams rode for those guys rather than their pure sprinters

Good effort by Brice Feillu in the late breakaway. Caught with the line almost in sight.

To be honest, I'm struggling to remember which race is which.

The first race of the season is in 7 days times.

All this stuff at the moment is just glorified training camps

  • The highlights for yday are 29secs long...

Hillier stage today. Its the one JTL one last time - sharp climb at the end which is a circuit.

Are they above or below chippers on the iainf72 scale?
