My boy loves riding but...

Hey all,

My lad is 6 and loves coming out riding with me, problem is he is always cold, is there any places you have used for kids riding gear?

My little fella is 9 and kept moaning about the cold so I got him some neoprene kids diving gloves and sock/booties, he doesn't moan about being cold now, he keeps saying he's to hot ??
The whole lot only cost around a tenner so good value.

Layers... especially a good base layer. A buff under his lid, and maybe one for his neck too (I always carry these for emergency use anyway). Warm socks - my lad, now 11 has sealskinz waterproof socks now he gets out in winter mud... but most of all warm gloves are a must as some kids seem to suffer from cold hands. Gloves are the hardest thing to get right, I think, and are worth spending some money on - best to go to a shop and try loads on.
