Stupid Question.

Hello,

Got a new bike with fox float ctd shock and fox talas ctd fork, both evolution series. Have 2 new shock pumps, 1 fox and 1 giant but when I attach either pump to either shock or fork I get no reading or am unable to increase/decrease pressure.

What am I doing wrong?

I found out on my RS that you have to screw the pump on further than what you think, keep turning until you get a reading then another quarter turn is what I was told

Screwing it until hand tight. I thought you could damage it if you over tighten it?

Screw it until it opens the valve. Or, as you've noticed, it doesn't work.
