Removing Helmet Decals

Hi. I have just bought a S-Work Evade (Black/Red) and was wondering if the Red decals can be removed. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be done? The decals aren't stickers in the traditional sense, but more like a thin film of some kind. Pics in link below. Thanks

    if they are painted on then no, if they are stuck on vinyl etc then heating them up with a hairdryer will help melt the adhesive, then use a credit card etc to help scrape them off

    They're definitely not painted on as they have slightly raised edges. I'll give the hair dryer a go but think the credit card will scratch the helmet.

    Acetone should do the job.
