Cyclocross Bikes HELP!!!

Howdy Folks,
Some HELP / Advice please......
Been after a CX bike for quite sometime, which I'm going to use for commuting / winter road training.....going to go down the 'Cycle To Work' scheme route.
What CX bikes do folk recommend for upto the sum of around the £1100 mark.....One that's caught my eye is the Cannondale CAADX 105, another thing should I go Canti or Disc???

Discs. Way of the future innit.
I'd also suggest looking at the Giant TCX SLR 2, Kinesis Pro6, and Planet X XLS. I have the last one:

discs definitely. not only do you have better performance but you don't have to clean the rims nearly as well as it's not a braking surface. BB7 or the new TRP's as a minimum.
BIG 2nd for the Planet X XLS Shimano 105 flanders. it looks cracking! and has great spec. much as I love my Boardman Team (with upgrades) I really want that as an overall upgrade.0
