    Spectacularly good looking bike.

There is an elephant in the room though, someone is bound to point out that it is in the small ring. Not me though, tis a thing of beauty.

fair comment from a OCD bike photography stance - but it was just about to be packed for travel - hence the chain position for ease of getting the wheel out (and I always finish a ride in the little ring)... will take OCD compatible picture with the Boras on next week :)

Have you been out on it much? Would love to know your thoughts, I have spec'd up the same bike and just having a look at a couple of other bikes, but am thinking I will go for this one (but it "Dark")..

    cheers

going to take it out in the dry tomorrow pm - will be interesting to see how far Wilier have advanced their aero thinking since the imperiale... its an interesting frame - seems to be a lot of frame in the BB so should feel stiffer than the Imp i think

Hmmm - Emirates lost it for 24hrs, 24 very worried hours, but it arrived today, built up in a hurry and did 45 km tonight - its lovely, smooth, and feels quicker in a straight line than the Imperiale, but also stiffer in the BB area, and more compliant in the back end - so a softer ride than the Zero - the weekend's longer ride will be more telling, and yes i will take some sunny pictures. Now it will be a case of which to leave at home

Always loved wiliers and your build has to be one of the most stunning examples I have ever seen
  • Absolutely stunning bike,

A mate of mine has the same frame but in the bright yellow/fluro colour scheme, well jealous. Hasn't built it up yet but would imagine it will also be a stunning bike when finished.

Emirates losing your bike, where were you travelling to and from ? only reason I ask is I travel a lot and have shipped bikes and parts but with Qatar and no problems.

    Regards

edit, sorry just seen your location is Doha, so I presume it was GLA-DOH.

  • Wow.. My dream bike right there :)
What is the ride like? Some early reviews are saying it is quite a harsh ride compared to the cento1 SR. I am contemplating this as my big buy with campy chorus or a canyon aeroad DA (significantly cheaper)
