White Bar Tape, Comfy, Cleans Up

Now that I have changed my seat post and saddle to ones with more white in, I'm looking to balance the bikes look out by buying some white bar tape (currently the original cannondale black).
I understand that they get grubby quicker than other colours, so I'm hoping you'll be able to help me find some decent, comfy white bar tape that is easy to clean and will come back to white with a bit of decent cleaning products.
Cheers!
Chris

I would just buy normal cork white tape and be careful - a toothbrush and some soapy liquid and you'll get the rest of the year out of it before it looks tatty.[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0

Was hoping for a bit more info than just 'normal'...... any recommended brands etc? Thanks anyway!0

I use selle italia smootape. Cleans up well well with a bit of cif. I use the thinner tape but I think selle also do a thicker version for more comfort. Never used anything else so cant say how it compares.0

Only white tape I've used recently is the Fizik Microtex stuff I put on my son's rescued '80s Peugeot. Strong and nice to wrap, but it's relatively thin so I'm not sure I'd describe it as comfy. Does clean up well though.
On my own bikes I just keep using the cheapest black tape I can find. It might be dirty but you can't really tell0 -
Has anyone used this tape before (keeping with the Cannondale theme)... do you think the logo would be too much?? Anyone got any pics of this on the handle bars?: -

I did think about the Fizik tape with the black logo through it, as I have a White and black Fizik Arione saddle.
Cheers!

The Fizik white logo tape does stay reasonably white and cleans up well. I think it looks pretty smart too. It is a thin tape so if you need extra comfort, you could double wrap with some cheap cork tape underneath or buy the bar gel pads from Fizik or Specialized. It's not the easiest to wrap as it doesn't stretch too well and you can get some creases at the bends, but take your time and it will look good.0

I have specialized white bar tape.
Very easy to keep clean.

I have some cinelli cork tape that went on real nice. I opted for the grey rather than white (gives it that ultegra grey look ) still doesn't look dirty despite never giving it any special attention on bath nights  The bontrager white it replaced, on the other hand, looked crap after about a week and never really cleaned up :roll:0

The 3mm LizardSkin DSP (?) is really nice tape, got a very nice feel to it....Bit expensive though !!A Brother of the Wheel. http://www.boxfordbikeclub.co.uk

This, but the 3.2mm is only for Paris roubaix. 1mm for weenies or 2.5mm for normal people. Rubberised so
It is easy to keep clean, big wipes or baby wipes do the treat.
Alternatively ask your lbs for a price on a workshop roll of standard white so you can replace as needed.0 -
White Fizik but double wrap the tops with some cheap bar tape under the Fizik.0

He's fussy, no point telling him standard white, he wants a brand.[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0
