Been looking to replace some Navigator Pista wheels for my daughter.

I would like 28h DA hubs, on a low pro alloy, so nothing too complicated but trying to get anyone to build these is proving to be a nightmare, I ve contacted several wheel builders and no one can source the DA hub, even though I can!
basically they all want to sell me what they ve got in stock and/or don't reply back.

I can see why factory options are easier.

Anyone know of a reliable wheel builder?

I've got a super nice set of Campag record/omega hardox aero wheels for sale with 36 spoke hubs and double tied soldered spokes.

But that's not really what you've asked about...

Might be worth sourcing the parts yourself? Why go with 28 instead of a higher spoke count?

  • she is little, why go for more?

getting the bits myself will prove far easier as you say.

True. But having 4 or 8 extra spokes won't make much difference to the wheel weight, they'll hold their value for resale better and you'll be able to get them much sooner?

Give Derek a call at www.wheelsmith.co.uk you should be able to send him the hubs.
