Cwmcarn Twrch trail - anyone been up recently?

Hi there,

I'm planning a trip to Cwmcarn soon for several laps of the Twrch trail.

Has anyone ridden the trail lately? How are the conditions looking?

With all the rain we had I'm slightly conscious the trail could be difficult to ride...

    I'd be more concerned about fallen trees after the wind we had (up north at least, not too sure about south wales)

    it's fine mate. maybe a few trees slightly blocking the traiol but I think they've all been cleared now.

    the new cafal trail opened today too so you can ride that too

    I would be interested to hear riders' thoughts regarding the new Catfal trial - apparently shorter than Twrch but more fun/challenging...?

    at 15km it's the same length
