reverb std or stealth advice

ive just built up a new nukeproof mega am on a 2013 frame.
im looking for a reverb seatpost to put on it...
the frame had hose guides for normal and stealth options, and i need normal sizes, (31.6, 420mm, 125mm drop)
now.. the stealth seems to be a bit more expensive , just for hiding the hose away.
is there any major improvement/detriment over getting the std version over the stealth?
is it hard work getting the steath post out of the frame when its all fitted?
cheers!

Advantage -
no cable to get caught in a crash.
no annoying cable rub or rattle.
Looks cleaner
easier to keep clean
Disadvantage
Hole in frame can collect water unless sealed correctly.
can be hassle if you need to remove your seat-post.
can be difficult to fit .
Most of the negatives are not really a problem once set up - I run a reverb dropper with stealth routing on a Trek Remedy 9 (alu frame) - I would not ride without it or choose a bike without stealth routing.
So Yeah they are better but I would suggest you buy from a good local bike shop so they can fit well and if you have any problems you can return it under warranty...
Saving a few quid is a pointless exercise for something like this.0
