Best race tyre for Dalby Forest

currently I am running a rubber queen 2.2 upfront and a half worn Nobby Nic on the back but I was wondering if theres any better options for what I am using it for as I cant really afford to go buying a load to try. Any ideas? Thanks

    Have a look at the new(ish) Maxxis Ardent Race. Could be what you are after! That will probably be my summer tyre this year.

    b) it depends on the conditions

    I've tended to use Ralphs at Dalby, but we raced there in slightly damp conditions a few years ago and Ian Bibby ran Furious Freds, and he went a lot quicker than I did!

    If you're interested in any new tyres I've got a sizeable collection of now redundant 26" tyres I need to get rid of! Mostly Schwalbe, few others.
