Brakes binding/catching

Fitted new acera hydraulics and the front is binding catching a bit.

Any thoughts on why or how I can try to fix please?

Check the caliper is centred and just ride.

I've done the standard fit wheel put brakes and tighten the mounting bolts but it still rubs - I'm hoping it just new pads??

Is the rotor centred? Is there an equal gap both side and is the rotor straigh

Just ride and give them a chance to bed in. A bit of rub is common.

You may have the same as my back brake. If you centre it by undoing the bolts, pull brakes on and redo bolts it rubs as the action is not quite the same each side. Doing it by eye means it is rub free and works normally.
