Hi all,
I have signed up for a charity 25 mile ride on 23rd March, I currently ride to and from work which is 2 miles each way and on the weekend usually do about 10 miles.
Is there any extra training should I look at doing apart from increasing my weekend ride mileage?

Increase your weekday mileage too! Barely worth riding 2 miles, start taking the long route in, or home, or both.0

I'm thinking of doing that, the route I'm thinking will only double the ride though. Is that going to be worth it? Although I can play about with routes on the way home now that my speed is increasing.

Anything will help.
You've only just got over a month, which isn't really long enough to make any huge gains. If you can ride 10 miles at the moment you'll be absolutely fine, just get used to it.
It's only 3 hours at a very very modest pace.0 -
Thanks very much, I am definitely going to increase my weekend ride as I want to try and get it sub 2hrs30 so no pain no gain.0
